Always keep Smiling. I like looking gruff, then turn, look them in the eye and slowly smiling. It is fun to see them smile back.

This may sound dumb, but everybody projects an Aura. By this I mean how people perceive you as you approach them. Your smile and a happy face is part of your first impression.
