Let a person know that they did a good job!

Go out of your way to let a person know that they did a good job! If you like something (a product, color, personal looks, or idea) tell that person.

This is a leadership skill most people don't understand. Employees like (need) to know what they're doing, how to do what they are doing and know what you think of what they are doing.

Everybody wants to be appreciated – self-actualization.

Most important is that they are not a Number.
