Good health should be part of your long term goals

I went to the doctor. He told me he had good news and bad news. The bad news is that I'm going to die. The good news is not today.

One of my favorite sayings is that you remember when you were young at the family picnic standing at the back of the lines looking at all the old people in front of you, now you're in the front looking back. The main point is how do you get to the front. Steve Jobs said. Don't mess around with your health. Studies have shown that educated people are healthier; Health and educated people live longer: to extrapolate: from the time we are born to the time we die, education and our health are one of the few things we have control over. Education is an accumulative process that nobody can take away from you. Your health is one of the few things you do have control of. At my age, I've known a lot of people that didn't (past-tense).

Remember that good health is part of your long term goals and should be part of your daily habits. It is a proven fact that health youth translate into health old people. The Inverse is true, Bad young habits translate in old people poor health.

Health Warning. The biggest hazard to your health is Stupidity. I also have another website called pre-electrician-apprenticeship.com. The first lesson is the most important: Safety. Being an Electrician is a dangerous trade if you mix it with stupidity. The same is true in life. It's surprising how many old people have disabilities related to doing something stupid when they were young. I'm not trying to tell you not to do something stupid. What I'm telling you is next time you know you're going to be doing some stupid, take a step back, look around and decide how you can do your stupid thing safely.
